This Friday, I will be joining the Bloggers Day of Silence to raise awareness & to acknowledge what is currently happening in Japan. During Hurricane Katrina, Japan donated $800,000 in supplies and $200,000 to the American Red Cross, while private donations totaled $1.5 million. Read more here about the additional support given during Hurricane Katrina.
“Even if those allies are themselves economically advanced and powerful, there are moments where they need our help, and we’re bound together by a common humanity.” –President Obama

2. Please post about what you will be doing this Friday whenever possible in hopes to spread the word and whoever else would like to join in.
