It’s FriYAY! This week has really flown by but really I don’t feel like I’ve done a whole lot. It’s been a pretty quiet week…not complaining about that!
Last Friday, a friend and I headed to Memphis for a quick, overnight trip. We managed to find some of the biggest sushi rolls ever. It took three of us to finish these three rolls, which you can barely see underneath all the toppings!
Since we didn’t stuff ourselves too much at lunch, we had room for ice cream afterwards 🙂 We went to La Michoacana for authentic Mexican ice cream & paletas (popsicles). Interestingly, we have a La Michoacana in Nashville and I’ve never been! It’s been added to the to-do list for this summer.
It’s a three hour drive from Memphis to Nashville so we stopped at City & State to fuel up on coffee on the way out of town. Attached to the coffee shop is a small apparel/gift shop with a lot of Tennessee-made goods.
So this Blueberry Tea Sangria also happened this week. This is a perfect addition to the menu for any upcoming cookouts this weekend!
Recipe testing can be so tough sometimes. But I do it for you guys 🙂

I’ll be heading to Indiana for the holiday weekend. Any great podcast recommendations? I listened to S-Town during my last drive to Indiana and would love to find something similar. Who else is headed out of town for the weekend?!
