Hi everyone 🙂 Hope your week has been super-duper so far! I have a different kind of post for you today but I think it’s something many of you will be interested in hearing, and hopefully joining.Million Mile Month

This Friday, April 1st, the Million Mile Month kicks off and I’d love it if each of you could join me in this activity challenge. Million Mile Month is a challenge to complete one million miles of physical activity, together as one global community, throughout the month of April. This is a great way to have fun while also doing your body some good by challenging yourself to get out there and be active! You can join on your own or create a group with friends, family, coworkers, neighbors, or whoever you’d like. And all activity counts so don’t feel like you have to be a runner or do other intense activity. Walking, cycling, gardening, jump roping—it all counts in Million Mile Month!

I’ve joined with my coworkers and some of the members of Team Beef Tennessee. The t-shirt this year is awesome so I registered under “Gold” status (and because it supports a great cause—proceeds from registration enable school children and low income families to participate for free). What do you think of the shirt? It’s super comfortable so I wear it even when I’m not exercising. It also came with a beef snack stick, which I immediately consumed 🙂 Million Mile Month

Get yourself signed up and then grab your friends and family to join you in this fun physical activity challenge! Just send them to the Million Mile Month registration page to get signed up.
