2inchpiece of fresh gingercut into 8 pieces
1/4teaspooncinnamonor 2 cinnamon sticks
1/4teaspoonground cloves

Instructions
1. Combine all ingredients, except gin, into a large saucepan. Allow to simmer over a medium-low heat for 20 minutes.
2. Mix in gin before serving. Enjoy beverage warm/hot.
Notes
If you'd like to do this in a slow cooker, combine all ingredients except for the gin, into your vessel and heat on low for 4 hours. Add gin to mulled cider before serving, or people can add their desired amount of gin to their individual cup.
