I started this blog in 2012 as a way to keep up with all of the recipes I created on whim but soon found that I loved sharing my food with others! In most of my recipe posts, I share the nutrition highlights of the recipe and try to include a unique ingredient that may be less familiar to many people. My goal here is to encourage you to get into the kitchen & have fun with food!
There is so much fear around food in today’s world and it’s damaging our relationship with it. I want to flip that and focus on the GOOD in food and celebrate the real, whole foods that leave us feeling nourished and happy!
My recipes are simple, healthy, & family-friendly and are inspired by cuisines from around the world!
- I’m fueled by coffee + matcha green tea
- One of my happy places is Dale Hollow Lake in Tennessee
- I’m a huge advocate for regular yoga practice
- I’ve lived in Nashville for 8 years!
- Avocado is one of my favorite foods and I eat them almost daily
- I just turned 30!
- Japan is at the top of my “International Travel” list!
