Get ready for a flavorful fall🍁 This Sheet Pan Pork Roast & Veggies recipe is a meal prep must 🍠✨

I love the easy clean-up with this sheet pan meal 👏👏 When I roast a large cut of meat, like pork or beef, on a sheet pan along with vegetables, I like to make a DIY aluminum roasting ring to help lift the meat up off the pan. This prevents juices from getting all of your vegetables, and allows the meat to cook more evenly than if it were placed directly on the pan.

It’s best to let the pork roast rest for about 5 minutes before slicing into it to help keep all those mouth-watering juices inside! 🤤 Comment ‘Pork roast recipe’ below and I’ll send you the link 💫

Daylight savings is just around the corner (November 3rd to be exact)🌙 With longer evenings, we can create an environment that supports relaxation and restorative rest.

Sleep is crucial for our overall health, impacting everything from mood and cognitive function to the immune system. In my book, Eat to Sleep: What To Eat & When To Eat It for a Good Night’s Sleep, I provide a comprehensive approach to improving sleep through nutrition and lifestyle changes, including a ‘Better Sleep Checklist’ that outlines a few do’s and don’ts.

Here are some highlights from the checklist:

✅ Establish a calming bedtime routine. Engaging in relaxing activities—like reading, drinking calming herbal teas, or gentle stretching—can signal to your body that it's time to wind down.

✅ Incorporate sleep-supportive foods into your diet. Foods rich in magnesium (like leafy greens and nuts) and complex carbohydrates (like oatmeal) can support sleep quality.

❌ Avoid consuming caffeine 8-10 hours before bed, and don’t eat a high fat meal close to bedtime. Both can disrupt sleep patterns, making it harder for your body to relax and enter restorative sleep.

❌ Don’t neglect your sleep environment. Make sure your bedroom is dark, quiet, and cool to promote a restful atmosphere.
