Hey Nutrition Adventurers! Want to hear some good news? Meal prep just got one step easier.
I really love to use garlic while cooking but sometimes avoid using it because I don’t want the smell of garlic on my hands for days. Plus, I rarely use an entire bulb of garlic before it goes bad. Dorot crushed garlic solves both of those issues! Each frozen herb & garlic product from Dorot comes portioned into tiny cubes that are ready to use—no prep required. No more smelly garlic hands!
Adding herbs & spices to dishes for flavor is a great way to reduce the amount of salt needed for flavor. That’s why I was so excited to try Dorot frozen garlic & herbs! This is a really simple pasta dish with plenty of vegetables, whole wheat fusilli, lean protein, and tons of flavor that surely the whole family will enjoy. It’s also perfect for leftovers 🙂

You can find Dorot in the frozen food section at Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s, Kroger, Shop-Rite, HEB, Stop & Shop, and Giant stores. I found mine at Whole Foods above the frozen vegetables. Be sure to grab a coupon for $1.00 off Dorot products before you head to the grocery!
Dorot’s Garlic | 1 cube = 1 clove
Dorot frozen herbs & garlic keep for up to two years in the freezer. There are 20 cubes per tray and I paid $2.29 for the crushed garlic. When I think about how much I end up throwing away fresh herbs or garlic that has gone bad, buying Dorot can equal big savings!
Garlic nutrition benefits
Besides flavor and a heavenly aroma, garlic also provides nutritional benefits. Eating garlic regularly may reduce atherosclerosis (hardening of the arteries) and the risk of stomach and colorectal cancers. That’s good news for us garlic-lovers!
I hope you enjoy this recipe and find Dorot frozen herbs & garlic to be a real time-saver for you in the kitchen. I’d love to know if you have tried any of the Dorot products before–leave me a comment below!

Wow! Those sound so handy! My garlic always shrivels before I can use it all, this would save the day.
