Karman is a Registered Dietitian with 15 years of experience in the field of nutrition, and has led more than 400+ cooking demos and classes, both in-person and virtually! With speaking engagements, culinary classes, and TV appearances, Karman aims to help others become more confident cooks at home. Her motto is ‘Cook with confidence, eat with joy!’. Karman believes in focusing on making cooking easy & fun, and sprinkles in nutrition advice and culinary tips throughout her classes.
She’s the author
of ‘Eat To Sleep: What To Eat & When To Eat It for a Good Night’s Sleep‘ (2019) and the upcoming book, ‘The Everything DASH Diet Meal Prep Cookbook‘ (2023). Karman is certified in culinary nutrition, weight management, and is a certified lifestyle coach with the Diabetes Prevention Program. She has been featured in publications such as Bon Appetit, Shape Magazine, Experience Life, FoodNetwork.com, and WomensHealthMag.com. As the founder and recipe creator behind TheNutritionAdventure.com, Karman is passionate about sharing the facts about food and nutrition with readers, and she works to encourage others to feel more confident in the kitchen and to enjoy food — not fear it.
Karman is the co-founder of NourishWell Network, a corporate wellness consulting company offering in-person and virtual wellness webinars and cooking classes focused on easy, healthy recipes anyone can make at home.
When she’s not working, Karman enjoys hiking, biking, and traveling with her husband. She loves trying new foods, and a good slice of key lime pie is her all-time favorite dessert!
