September is National Better Breakfast Month so I’ September is National Better Breakfast Month so I’m sharing one of my favorite options for a satisfying, nutrient-rich breakfast—a bowl of cereal with milk & fruit 🥣🥛🫐

Choosing a whole grain cereal with 5 grams of fiber or more per serving can make a big difference in your morning by providing longer lasting fuel for the body. Paired with milk to provide a source of protein and fat, plus fruit for more fiber and antioxidants, you have a powerful combo 💪

What’s your favorite cereal + fruit combo to enjoy for breakfast or a snack?

August theme: tomatoes 🍅❤️ I’ve made two batches August theme: tomatoes 🍅❤️

I’ve made two batches of tomato sauce already with garden tomatoes. I like to freeze it to use in soups and chili later in the year!

To make a sauce, I roast tomatoes, onion, and garlic on a sheet pan in the oven at 375 degrees. Drizzle with olive oil, a little balsamic and some salt & pepper before they go into the oven! Roast for about 25-35 minutes. Let it cool and then process in a blender or use an immersion blender.

Cottage cheese is an absolute powerhouse for adding creamy texture, satisfying protein, and essential nutrients without needing heavy cream. But I wanted to take the trend to step further by creating a recipe that hits the trifecta: maximum flavor + nutrient-dense veggies + quick meal prep 💯

The result: Cheesy Protein Veggie Pasta 🍝

I created this recipe for @thedairyalliance website & would love to know if you give it a try! Comment ‘recipe’ and I’ll send the link 🔗 How are you using cottage cheese lately?
