Get a healthy dose of vitamin C in this simple Tangerine-Lime Green Smoothie!
Green Smoothie ingredients (Tangerine, Lime, Spinach, ginger)

Limes are getting a lot of love this week!

First, the Coconut-Lime Body Scrub and now this lovely lime-tastic green smoothie.

This past weekend started with a stuffy nose, a sinus headache, and an overall feeling of yuck. Hence, the reason this smoothie was created. Tangerines, spinach, lime, and wheatgrass powder all contribute a healthy dose of vitamin C to this smoothie, which is essential for a healthy immune system and kicking the funk to the curb. I’m happy to report that after a couple of doses of this green smoothie, I was feeling much better!Green Smoothie with Tangerine, Lime, Spinach

Ginger is something I add to almost all of my smoothies because I love the taste, and it’s great for digestion. Dates add just the right amount of sweetness, are a great source of magnesium, and an excellent source of dietary fiber. For an extra boost of vitamins and minerals, try adding some wheatgrass powder or Moringa powder. So many good things happening in this glass! Do any of these ingredients make a regular appearance in your smoothies/juices?
