2016 Top Recipes
As 2016 comes to a close, we are taking a look back at the top recipes from the year!
It’s hard to believe that I started this blog 6 years ago. In the beginning, a month or two would go by between posts, and now it’s difficult to even look at some of the photos from those early posts. So much has changed in the blogging world over the years, and I’ve learned more than I ever could have imagined, mostly from friends in the food blogging community. Even though it takes a lot of work on the back-end to bring new recipes and content to the blog, I still love it after all these years. And that’s because of all of you who read, comment, pin, try, and share my recipes! Thank you times a million for your support 🙂
That’s what makes today’s post so much fun. Looking back over the past year, these are the most popular recipes—some from this year, some from years prior. If you’ve tried any of these recipes, I’d love to know!

10. Matcha Power Smoothie Bowl
This was the year I finally got on board with the smoothie bowl trend, and now there’s no going back! Is this a trend you hope continues in 2017?
9. Mediterranean Cod with Rotini
I realized after sharing this recipe on the blog that I should share more seafood recipes. There’s another seafood recipe in this round-up…AND it involves tacos.
8. Zucchini Ribbons with Chickpeas & Chili Oil
Oh my gosh….probably one of my favorite salads I made this year. Chili oil is good stuff.
7. Easy Chickpea & Squash Crockpot Curry
Hey, hey there 2015! This easy crockpot curry made a resurgence this year thanks to Sally at Real Mom Nutrition and this Fitness Magazine post.
6. Roasted Summer Vegetable Panzanella
Can it please be summer again?
5. Brown Sugar-Cinnamon PB Cookies
What I learned after I shared this recipe is that you guys REALLY like cookies. Noted.
4. Cauliflower Cranberry Superfood Salad
Another recipe from 2015 sneaking into the top 10 list for this year!
3. Blackened Salmon Tacos
Inspired by my first visit to Austin, these Blackened Salmon Tacos got some love in an article by Kara Lydon on FitnessMagazine.com.
2. Oven Dried Pineapple
I’m not sure what sparked the interest in oven-dried pineapple this year, but my recipe from 2014 (back in my iPhone photography-only days) has seen lots of visitors in 2016.
1.Lemon Blueberry Quinoa Breakfast Bars
Yep, one of my favorites too 🙂
I hope you all have a fabulous New Year’s & cheers to more delicious things in 2017!
